How do I add the VIX allocation to my Schwab account? Is it as simple as buying the inverse VIX ETF?
If by the inverse VIX you mean SVIX, that is not what you want. There is no great substitute for the VIX calls. VXZ is what was on my radar before I got introduced to how to buy VIX calls. I own the calls and not VXZ.
