Marry Christmas. I like the views on the video. Can we compare money supply in other countries vs. US? I feel when ever the global volatility is high. USD always gets a push higher.
Hey Peter – I am having difficulty cross checking one of your inputs. @ per the below, what I find online is the reverse of what you assume RE 2022 US budget deficit – absolute and relative to 2021. Can yo help me reconcile ASAP? Thx
“Specifically, the deficit would fall from $3.7 trillion in FY 2021 to $1.8 trillion in 2022 and $1.3 trillion by 2027 before rising to $1.6 trillion by 2031. As a share of GDP, the deficit would fall from 16.7 percent of GDP in FY 2021 to a low of 4.2 percent of GDP in 2029 before growing to 4.7 percent of GDP by 2031.”
Hi Peter, thanks for the video. Like other members, I am also curious about the deficit numbers for FY22 as according to the published paper it should fall from $3.7T in FY21 to $1.8T in FY22 and will continue to fall in subsequent years.
I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas! Thank you all for being part of this amazing community
Thanks Peter. Here’s to a very profitable new year!!

The projected deficit is supposed to shrink steadily over the next few years…
Maybe an update with the correct deficit number?
