How do you short stocks? I need an exact example on how to short each stock. I know there are etf’s that short their sectors but how do you short stocks?
I agree. I have rarely had shares available for things I want to short. Also, all now my funds are in tax sheltered accounts in which you cannot short. I am wondering if puts are a reasonable alternative. In general, I like using VIX products over betting on stocks going down directly. I think the VIX Calls may ultimately prove more effective.
